I've been a patient here since 2014 with out Valhalla and their amazing staff. I don't know where I would be with out them.

Amazing place to go if you're struggling with opioid addiction. Every single member on the staff is so understanding and helpful. No judgements there. They helped me quit taking pain pills and then I went on their maitanence program combined with counseling and paired me with a counselor which abruptly left but my SECOND counselor was wonderful. I then chose to ween completely off and am still attending counseling and have other support I found thru them. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Depending on your DOC of course but I felt it was WAY BETTER than Hazelden in Center City. Thank You Valhalla Staff!!! 😊

Now that they've got security gaurds, cameras in the building hallways (outside the site's door) I've noticed it isn't as ghetto and doesn't look/feel like your avg stereotypical methadone clinic like it did when I first started a few years ago. The staff are so nice, especially the nurses! You don't feel like your being judged or treated any less cuz you've made some mistakes..if you respect them, they'll do the same to you. This place honestly has saved my life and I'm grateful for the ability to go here. Tho I wish they were able to bring the cost down a bit. $20 a day adds up quick

Best place ever for addiction!!! Counselors r great!!! The nursing staff and front desk r wonderful!! Couldn't ask for a better recovery center!!

This is definitely the nicest rehab/treatment clinic in Minnesota. I've been to three other clinics before finally finding Valhalla and maintaining sobriety.

Valhalla is the best place to go for treatment all the staff is really nice even if they p*** you off they will work with you. The only problem is That's a woodbury police patrol that whole area like were doing something wrong. the cops are harassing everybody like there buying drugs.but you have tons of idiots that abuse the system and they bring unwanted attention to the honest ones but o well thats life so DEAL WITH IT,,question would you want some one robbing people for drugs or going to treatment and getting there meds hmmmmm that's not a tough one,,, the police need to find something else to do,,,, before someone actually sues them for the harassment

I have been going there for 6 years and I love my counselor and I love the ppl who run it that is the place I go to everyday and I do get sick of it but it's the best clinic and everyone is so nice to me and I will be going there for a while longer. I'm not going to get off any time soon. I think if the clinic was bad I would have quit. I feel so comfortable there. I JUST HATE THE COPS HANGING OUT AROUND THERE ALL THE TIME!!They have to work on that. **UPDATE**2017 It's been almost 8 1/2 years now that i have been at Valhalla. Alot has changed in the last for years with the clinic for the better. They spld it to a bigger company so it is connected with other climocs in the Area. I have a different counselor that is great. We get along well i am in weekly apt with therapist and it has helped SO MUCH withy addiction and my serve anxiety and has made me not feel ashamed of my using past anymore. The staff at this place cares abpit you and really does help u out if u need help. It has such a so comfortable atmosphere from Tue staff. The nurses all do a great job. They all care and want ro see you help ur self grow and become the best version of yourself. They challenge you. IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT - CRAVE. IS CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. to move towards succeeding in you goals and dreams. Big and small. This is like my family love it.

This place saved me from serious illness. The ladies at the front desk are super nice. The director Michele doesnt take grievances seriously, so unless its a matter of life and death, don't bother.

Great place to go for substance abuse. The counselors and staff are great. They treat you good and actually care about you.

Valhalla has fulfilled it's promise to help and be there for the patients through thick and thin. I have especially had a great experience with my counselor Paul who has gone out of his way to be of great help to me. For all of the negative outlooks people tend to put on methadone clinics; they do a tremendous amount of good. Not only do they help keep people stable and living decent lives but the clinic ,for me, has kept me from spending thousands of dollars a month on illicit pharmaceuticals. If there were a down side, it would be that they are there solely for the revenue that they generate in mass and that is clearly apparent through the clinics policies and . I have terrible chronic pain and with a history of opiate addiction in this horrible medical climate I am out right refused treatment. This leaves me 3 options. 1. Suicide over horrid non stop level 8 pain. 2. Illicit use of very expensive narcotic analgesics risking medical problems and death. or 3. Methadone maintenance treatment where you are believed in and treated with dignity. Valhalla you have my sincere gratitude & appreciation!
